CNC Machining

CNC Milling

CNC milling is a process that uses a rotating tool to remove material from a stationary workpiece.  At CIP we utilize state-of-the-art milling equipment to perform precision machining on a wide variety of products.  From high volume automotive parts to low volume prototype parts we have equipment that can provide simple or complex milling solutions.

CNC Turning

CNC turning is a process that usese a stationary tool to remove material from a rotating workpiece.

CIP specilizes in high volume turning applications with annual production volumes generally ranging from 10,000 to 1,000,000+.

Raw Materials

CIP specializes in the machining of powder metal components.  Powder metal or sintered metal components are made by compacting metal powders in a die.  These “green” compacts are then sent through a sintering furnace to metallurgically bond the powder particles below the materials melting point.

We are also able to machine a wide varitey of metal alloys including but not limited to steel, aluminum, copper alloys, etc.
